Spearheaded by the Arch Cape Falcon Cove Beach Community Club, several members of the broader community are proposing to incorporate Arch Cape, Arcadia and Falcon Cove into a city. They received $100,000+ from the County to fund Eco Northwest, a consultant, to do a feasibility study.
The current timeline is to have a feasibility study completed by the end of 2025 and put the measure on the May 2026 or November 2026 ballot for voting residents to decide. Note: per state requirements, before the measure can be put on a ballot, a signed petition with a feasibility study must be submitted to Clatsop County Board of Commissioners who will hold a public hearing.
